actKM 08

Managing knowledge for competitive advantage

The actKM knowledge management forum is proud to announce that actKM 08 will be held on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th of October 2008 at University House, Australian National University (ANU) Canberra, Australia.

Cost will be held at the very affordable price of $650 per person or $550 pp for a team of five or for early bird registrations, representing the best value for money KM conference available.

In 2007, actKM was recognised by Straits Knowledge as having run one of the best km conferences in the region.  However, we cannot rest on our laurels and we need to look at how we can improve on that for 2008.

actKM 08 is being designed to address the crucial issue of how we realise value from knowledge management activities. actKM 08 will again be highly participative and interactive.

Organising Committee

Our organising committee is currently being finalized and details will be out soon.

Keynote presenters

Following our success with David Gurteen and Patrick Lambe in 2007, actKM is currently exploring options for a number of international renowned speakers to present at actKM 08.

The program for the conference is now available.

actKM Knowledge Management Awards

In 2008, actKM will once again judge and award prizes to organisations or individuals that have made significant achievements in organisational capability, performance or sustainability through the application of knowledge-based projects or activities. Organisations or individuals who believe that they may have a potential for a submission, should register an expression of interest as early as possible.

Registrations are now available. Download a copy of the registration form (doc 117k, pdf 93k), and return it via post, fax, or email.

actKM remains an independent community of practice and is self funding. However, there are opportunities for sponsors to participate in actKM 08. Interested parties should contact the actKM convenor at:
