Hi,

I'm new to this forum and am looking for technology to help us create a number of helpful tools for our intranet - like the kind of thing on NHS Direct body check.

The idea is that people can follow a step-by-step guide rather than reading a big document.

I found a product called Firefly (http://www.informavores.com/firefly) that seems to do this really well, but it's a bit more than I can afford at the moment - given the size of my project.  Does anyone know of anything similar?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Lance

Hi Lance,

I work for a company called Panviva that focuses on providing step-by-step instructions to corporate processes and procedures. It is analogous to a GPS - the map is the maze of complex processes and procedures that typically exist in an organisation. The GPS is our SupportPoint product that helps users get from A to B via step by step instructions. If you like I can send you a white paper - just let me know.

I'd be interested in finding out more about your project - number of users, number of procedures, size of organisation, etc.

Best Regards,
Michael.

Thanks Michael,

After much review, we decided to go with Firefly.  When we broke it down, the software was actually very good value for money - especially after speaking with internal IT.

Firefly was really the best fit for our needs.

Regards,
