I have tried to get help by using the discussion list @ actkm, however so far there is (almost) no answer so I have decided to try this board as well.
Dear all,
My name is Grzegorz Majewski and I am doing a PhD at one of the Scottish universities. Well unlike most of the members of this mailing list I am not from Australia, but I was redirected here by someone I have contacted with my enquiry...
Currently I am doing a research on trust building in Virtual Communities of Practice. The outcome will be a paper that will be submitted for the European Conference on Knowledge Management -
http://www.academic conferences.org/eckm/eckm2008/eckm08-home.htm. The abstract has been already submitted and accepted by the Conference Committee, the paper itself is almost ready as well. What is missing is the "empirical part" of the paper - survey of the VCoP users. I have already tried to arrange it with one of the British companies and some of my other contacts; however I wasn't very successful

. Could anyone here provide me with contact details of a VCoP that would be available for a 10 to 15 minutes survey? I would be very grateful.
To give you a better idea of how the paper could look like - here is the past paper prepared by one of my older colleagues (same dept, supervisor and similar area):
Survey LInkWhat can I offer in exchange (if needed):
1) If the paper is accepted there will be an opportunity to gain awareness from the wider KM audience. I will give all the necessary
acknowledgements to the organization that agreed to take part in the research.
2) There will be an opportunity for the paper to appear in renowned KM journals such as Knowledge Management Research and Practice.
3) Fun

4) Other perks and benefits (to be further agreed).
Thank you in advance for help (and for reading this much too long email).
Cheers,
Grzegorz Majewski
