actkm July meeting is at GovCamp

Innovation Month: GovCamp comes to Canberra

On Saturday 19 July around Australia, people from federal, state/territory and local government together with civic changemakers, digital innovators and policy designers are gathering for the first nationally-networked GovCamp to talk about innovation for public purpose.

This GovCamp is a pilot of the revitalised GovCamp Australia program and is aligned with this year’s Public Sector Innovation Month in July.

With a new coordinating team - together with organising teams around the country - GovCamp Australia is taking the popular format of open, participatory conversation to the next level as a genuinely national initiative to encourage ongoing and open discussion about public-purpose challenges and innovative responses.
Building on GovCamps from previous years, we're involved in the 'unconference’ style Innovation GovCamp - revitalising the GovCamp format with participatory sessions and 'social knowledge' sharing on a range of innovation themes: public sector, social, digital, open, collaborative... and more.

So far, events are being organised in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. GovCamp is free so join us for a reinvigorating day of discussion and interaction that will expose you to like-minded people... and the occasional surprise.
