2012 actKM Conference Submissions

actKm 2012 Conference - Call for Papers
When: 16-17 October 2012
Where: Canberra, Australia

The actkm knowledge management forum is now calling for Papers and
Presentations for our 12th Annual Conference.
We are looking for presentations from KM/OD practitioners or similarly
interested professionals willing to share their experiences or views on our
theme of 'Connecting Knowledge - building the knowledge-centric

Your challenge is to bring your knowledge and experience to the table and
engage with a discerning and interactive audience to explore possibilities
for organisations in the current and future environments.

We are seeking submissions with a preference for interactive/experiential
activities or practical solutions/techniques that engage conference
participants in a learning or collaborative environment to foster
understanding and facilitate an effective knowledge transfer. Submissions
are requested by 30 June 2012.

Important Dates:
Submission of abstracts: 30 June 2012
Author and Early Bird Registration: 30 July 2012
Full Submission: 2 September 2012
Conference: 16th and 17th October 2012

actkm 2012 Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts should only be a short document (150 - 500 words) that outlines
the activity or presentation. The abstract should have a title that reflects
the content and should be succinct. A good abstract will also outline the
message or the learning objective and will describe the process that the
presenter plans to use to engage the audience. A brief biography of the
presenter/facilitator should also be attached.

Authors may also elect to have their papers peer reviewed and included in
the actkm Journal of Knowledge Management. If so, they should note this in
their submission.
