Call for Presentations actkm 2011

The actkm knowledge management forum announces that it is holding its 2011 conference in cosmopolitan Melbourne on 10-11 October 2010.
We are looking for presentations from KM/OD practitioners or similarly interested professionals willing to share their experiences or views on our theme of 'what keeps CEOs awake at night - how KM can address the top challenges facing today's leaders'.

Your challenge, should you decide to accept it, is to bring your knowledge and experience to the table and engage with a discerning and interactive audience to explore possibilities for organisations in the current environment.
We are seeking submissions with a preference for interactive/experiential activities that engage conference participants in a learning or collaborative environment to foster understanding and facilitate an effective knowledge transfer. Submissions are requested by 21 April 2011.

Important Dates:
Submission of abstracts: 21 April 2011
Notification: 01 May 2011
Author and Early Bird Registration: 30 June 2011
Full Submission: 2 September 2011
Conference: 10th and 11th October 2011

actkm 2011 Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts should only be a short document (150 - 500 words) that outlines the activity or presentation. The abstract should have a title that reflects the content and should be succinct. A good abstract will also outline the message or the learning objective and will describe the process that the presenter plans to use to engage the audience. A brief biography of the presenter/facilitator should also be attached.
Authors may also elect to have their papers peer reviewed and included in the actkm Journal of Knowledge Management. If so, they should note this in their submission.
Abstracts should be submitted via our Abstract submission form

Authors are required to present their papers in person at the conference.
Authors provide actkm with a license to publish abstracts and papers.
One complimentary pass to the conference will be provided for each presentation.
